Engine DJ and rekordbox, on Pioneer and Denon
One drive.
Every player.
A small box on your players' network. Plug in a USB drive with your Engine DJ or rekordbox library, and Pioneer and Denon players browse and play it, with its waveforms, beat grids and cues.
Three plugs.
No export.
-
Plug the box into your players' switch.
One Ethernet cable. The box joins the players' network as a source, beside them.
-
Plug in your USB drive.
Engine DJ, rekordbox or OneLibrary, as your software exported it. Several drives at once.
-
Browse it on any player.
Pioneer players find it under rekordbox, Denon players among their sources. Nothing is converted ahead of time, and nothing is copied.
Your prep
comes with it.
Waveforms and beat grids
Drawn from your library, the way each player expects them.
Hot cues, memory cues, loops
From either library, on either make of player.
FLAC and ALAC
Converted as they play, for players that can't read them. Your drive is never written to.
Every drive at once
Every library on every drive, each in its own folder.
Drives in the players too
A drive in one player is shared with the others, Pioneer and Denon alike.
Sync across makes
Pioneer players follow a Denon deck's tempo.
Tried on
- XDJ-700Pioneer
- Prime 4+Denon
More rekordbox and Engine players are added here as they are tried.
Not yet
- A Denon deck can't follow a Pioneer deck's tempo.
- Pioneer players can't save a new cue on a track the box serves.

The box
A Raspberry Pi in its case, set up and licensed. Plug it into the switch and it runs.
Software only
For your own Raspberry Pi 5 or 4. One license runs on one Pi.
Your own Pi.
- Write Raspberry Pi OS Lite (64-bit), Trixie or later, to a microSD card.
- Connect the Pi to the players' switch, and to the internet while it installs.
- Run one line on the Pi.
On the Pi
curl https://live.cymant.com/install | sudo sh
Run it again to update. Your settings stay.
Your player shows a code?
That is how a new box asks for its license. Enter the code, buy or move a license, and the players show your libraries.
